A left click on the middle two pictures make them bigger. A left click on the top and bottom ones show more views.

To the left is a picture of our ?forever home? also known as the River Cottage. Yes, it overlooks the Hampton River. You can see photos of it by clicking here  or on the top photo. We took lots of photographs as it was being built and they are still on the site sequentially.

Ocean Forest is our neighborhood on the north end of Sea Island. We accidently have two residences here. The Forest Cottage (meaning it is not on the golf course or the water) is down the street on Tay Lane. We bought it as a vacation place while living in St. Louis. Later we lived there for a year until our home was finished. The Sea Island Properties brochure for the area is the second photo. Enlarge it to get a real feel.

The most fun is the view on the left of Little St. Simmons Island. It was taken from our bedroom window at sunrise. You're looking out across the Hampton River at dawn on Valentines Day. We moved to the finished cottage in the summer of 2008.

The Forest Cottage (on Tay Lane) is now used as our guest house. It was once for sale, but when the real estate market went down we took it off the market. Now we love having a separate place for company. It still has three fully furnished bedrooms, and two more where we can pile up kids on the inflatable beds. Most guests prefer staying there to being upstairs here on the river with us. But our view is better!
